Crewed Charters
Captained trips, fishing charters, sandbar runs, and sunset cruises.
It started as a real 9-acre island in Tampa Bay. Today it's a full social platform and marketplace for people who actually go outside — book a boat charter, rent a jet ski, buy and sell boats, find a captain, discover events, and crowdfund a trip, all in one app.

More than a sandbar
Beer Can Island (officially Pine Key) is a privately owned island in Tampa Bay, Florida, reachable only by boat. The community that grew up around it wanted more than a destination — they wanted a way to find boats, captains, gear, and each other. So we turned the island's membership club into something bigger: a social network and marketplace for the entire outdoor lifestyle.
The app for people who actually go outside. Boating, fishing, captains, charters, concerts, sports, festivals — Beer Can Island connects the people, services, and events that make up life on and around the water.
The social network
At its core, Beer Can Island is a real social network. Members create profiles, post and share, and connect with boaters, anglers, surfers, and outdoor people worldwide.
Outdoor activities & services
Beer Can Island is also a booking marketplace. Reserve a charter anywhere in North America, rent watercraft, or hire a captain — and providers can list their services for free.
Captained trips, fishing charters, sandbar runs, and sunset cruises.
Vessel only — take the helm yourself, no captain or crew.
Licensed captains available to run your own boat.
Personal watercraft rentals for a day on the bay.
Kayaks, paddleboards, and dinghies for quiet water.
eFoils, flyboards, Seabobs — the toys you can't rent anywhere else.
Marketplace & tools
Beyond booking, Beer Can Island gives the outdoor economy real tools — for buyers, sellers, captains, and organizers alike.
The island
The app is anchored to a real place: a privately owned, 9-acre island in Tampa Bay accessible only by boat. Members of the Beer Can Island Owners Club LLC get physical access to the island, prepaid drink tickets at the tiki bar, boat-ride events, and even optional ownership shares in the LLC — with K-1 tax documents handled automatically.
That blend of a real-world membership club and a digital platform is what makes Beer Can Island unusual — and it's all powered by the software underneath.
Built & operated by RG Loomis
Beer Can Island is designed, built, and operated by RG Loomis LLC — the public website, the native iOS and Android apps, Stripe payments, the booking marketplace, and the real back-office accounting that runs the membership club underneath.
